Jewel-Osco features charcuterie as part of 125th anniversary celebration.
Columbus Craft Meats, Hayward, CA, partnered with Jewel-Osco to display a 125-foot charcuterie board, Aug. 28, at the retailer’s Mount Prospect, IL, store. The special board commemorated Jewel-Osco’s milestone 125th anniversary.
The board was packed with snacking favorites, including salumi or cured meats, considered to be the bridge that delivers all the flavor pairings on a charcuterie board. The world’s longest charcuterie tray display was open to the public.
Jewel-Osco was founded in 1899 and is owned by Albertsons Companies. The grocery and drug retailer has 188 locations encompassing Illinois, Northwest Indiana and Iowa, and employs 31,000-plus associates.
